BEREAVEMENT

The practice has been that when a member dies, her year group members levy themselves. When other Agosans join them for the funeral, the other Agosans present contribute voluntarily. Any amounts collected is added to the classmates donation before it is presented to the immediate family with a token to the extended family as tradition demands. The year group also provides snack to be shared by all Agosans present. In the case of a headmistress or teacher, donation will be made from AGOSA account. Please note that this has been the practice in the past and the status quo will be maintained until further notice.
